Reports today are that the France international is on the verge of putting pen to paper on a new deal to commit him to the Turin giants until June 2019.
The player and his agent have reportedly just concluded a face-to-face with director general Beppe Marotta and an announcement is expected in the next few days.
“It would be some great news for everyone here at Juventus,” his club captain Buffon has commented to Sky Italia.
“And I think it would be great for him too, because the best thing is to understand what it means to embody Juve and its world.
“Pogba could become a legend, an icon for such a glorious club.
“I believe that if he signed an extension, Juve would make a huge statement.”
