A viral video on social media shows Gigi Buffon using a blasphemous word during Parma-Juventus, but the goalkeeper has not been punished by the Disciplinary Commission as Bryan Cristante was last week.

The 42-year-old appeared to be reproaching the young Manolo Portanova in the final minutes of the Ennio Tardini clash on Saturday.

“I want to see you stay there, running and suffering,” Buffon said before using a blasphemous word.

“I don’t care about anything else,” he added.

The Disciplinary Commission did not suspend the Juventus goalkeeper because the blasphemy had not been heard by the referee with the Federal Prosecutor who did not provide any proof that could lead to the punishment of the 2006 Italy World Cup winner.

It's a decision that has caused some controversy in Italy as only last week Roma’s Bryan Cristante received a one-match suspension for the same reason, but in that case the blasphemy was heard by the referee and reported by the Federal Prosecutor.
