Gianluigi Buffon believes Roma’s Edin Dzeko is “the most dangerous striker” at the moment, and never doubted his quality.
The Bosnian struggled during his first season in Serie A after moving from Manchester City, but has 17 goals in all competitions already this term.
“At the moment, he’s the most dangerous striker,” Buffon told Sky when asked about Dzeko.

“At the moment, he’s the most dangerous striker,” Buffon told Sky when asked about Dzeko.
“He’s adapted very well to [Luciano] Spalletti’s plans and has understood them perfectly, and you can see the results of that. He’s probably just a player who needed time.
“In the end, leave aside the present Dzeko and he still has a very good record which speaks in his favour.
“To think that he had all of a sudden become a mediocre player sounds a bit stupid.”
