The meeting to discuss a possible renewal between Inter and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has reportedly been postponed again, but the Nerazzurri are still optimistic despite rumours of interest from Barcelona and Manchester United.

The La Liga giants and the Premier League side are monitoring the situation at the Giuseppe Meazza, as the Croatian’s current deal expires next summer and he could potentially leave on a free transfer.

Inter are hoping to renew with the player but have been waiting for an important meeting with his farther and legal consultant, a summit that has been postponed intermittently for months.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the meeting between the two parties has been postponed once more, but that Brozovic has returned from international duty with Croatia in good shape and should be ready to play against Lazio on Saturday.

Milan, Manchester United and Barcelona have been linked with a possible move for the midfielder, while Tottenham director Fabio Paratici insisted the rumours of Spurs’ interest were ‘unfound’.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta said the two parties would meet this week and the Nerazzurri are still confident of reaching an agreement with the player.
