However, according to the Corriere dello Sport, sporting director Piero Ausilio has put efforts to sign Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva and Mario Suarez of Atletico Madrid on hold.
Ausilio has been in England in the past couple of days, and was believed to be seeking to close a deal for Lucas. However, the Roman sports paper says that the priority is now Brozovic.
Relationships between Dinamo and Inter are thought to be good after the Beneamata’s capture of Mateo Kovacic and the newspaper states that the asking price for Brozovic would be around €6m.
Corriere dello Sport states that Inter will offer an initial loan deal, with the move being made permanent in the summer.
