The 21-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder looked set to join the Nerazzurri in the summer, only for the deal to fall through.

The agent of reported Inter target Marcelo Brozovic has refused to be drawn on whether his client will move to San Siro in January.
The 21-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder looked set to join the Nerazzurri in the summer, only for the deal to fall through.
“I don’t know the real reason for the deal with Inter not going through,” representative Miroslav Bicanic has told fcinternews.it.
“Marcelo wanted to come. I was in Milan to speak to Piero Ausilio, and we were very close to completing the transfer but we didn’t manage it.
“I don’t know the reason, but the situation changed and he’s looking forward in his career.”
The fact that a deal was seen as so close to completion has led to speculation that Inter may move for Brozovic again in January, but Bicanic insists he has not spoken to the club.
“There has been no further contact between myself and Inter.
“I see in the media that there is new interest in Marcelo from the Nerazzurri but I don’t know anything about that, there’s been nothing official.
“Would he say yes to Inter again? He is a player from Croatia and he should be playing for one of the most important clubs in Europe.
“Every Croatian player would like to go there [to one of Europe’s biggest teams].
“Will Dinamo sell him in January? I don’t know. It’s a question for the club. It’s October, so I don’t know what Dinamo are planning to do in January.
“I’ll be in Italy to see the game between the two national teams [Italy and Croatia on November 16] and after that we’ll know more.”
