Keisuke Honda is likely to leave Milan if the club decide to keep Cristian Brocchi as Coach next season, say reports.

Sinisa Mihajlovic was sacked on Tuesday and replaced by the former Rossoneri Primavera boss in an unpopular move by President Silvio Berlusconi.

Calciomercato.it has now reported that Brocchi’s confirmation for next season could see Japan international Honda leave San Siro.

The report says that Brocchi will play a 4-3-1-2 formation and that Giacomo Bonaventura will be the first choice in the role of trequartista.

Honda won’t want to begin a new season as a reserve and prefers to play on the wings, according to the outlet.

The attacking midfielder has a contract expiring in 2017 and therefore the Rossoneri could accept a sale if Honda wants to leave, in order to avoid losing him for free next summer.
