Milan Coach Cristian Brocchi says they face ‘a mental test’ against Carpi and demands ‘hunger with no excuses.’
The Rossoneri face the relegation strugglers at San Siro tomorrow in what will be Brocchi’s first home game in charge since replacing Sinisa Mihajlovic.

“The team must face the match tomorrow with the knowledge of being the absolute favourites, without excuses. The only objective is to prepare mentally for battle.
“From our point of view we must have the same hunger and our quality and desire to win needs to emerge.
“Bertolacci has a slight muscular problem that will keep him out. We’ll evaluate it in the next few days.
“Kucka is an important player who knows how to interpret the two phases of play well and he showed that the other night. We have in our squad player who have desire and want to put themselves on show.
“I’m sure that whoever I decide to send onto the pitch in his place will give me an important response.
“We haven’t had much time to prepare for this match, but the time available must be enough.
“I like the modern trequartista who doesn’t stay behind the strikers but can find space on the pitch, the important thing is that he has an attacking mindset and not a defensive one.
“Boateng? He has an important personality, since I’ve come in he’s shown great desire to prove himself and defend the cause.
“Balotelli? I’ve tried to get to know him and let him know me. I must understand what the players can give me. He’s a different guy from the one who arrived in the summer, when you look him in the eye he has something real and profound. A look says a lot, I expect positive things.
