Milan President Silvio Berlusconi reportedly met with a British fund wanting to become a minority shareholder last night.

The Rossoneri owner is looking for new investors and has been in negotiations for the €480m sale of a 48 per cent stake in the club to Thai broker Bee Taechaubol since last summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed today that other parties have shown interest in the San Siro club in the last few months as Mr Bee delays.

The newspaper writes today that on Monday night Berlusconi made his first contact with members of a British fund who want to enter the club as minority shareholders.

However, the outlet believes the Milan owner to be more interested in the Asian markets and says that there are other oriental groups interested, one Chinese and one Chinese-American.
