Marco Brescianini is undergoing medical tests with Napoli, but Premier League side Brentford have dropped Jens Cajuste, who is travelling back to Italy.
Italian midfielder Brescianini is on the verge of joining Napoli from Frosinone and is currently undergoing medical tests with the Partenopei at Villa Stuart in Rome.

The Milan academy product will move to the Stadio Maradona on an initial €1m loan, with an obligation to buy for €11m in 2025.
Brescianini has Napoli medical but Brentford drop Cajuste
Theoretically, Brescianini should have replaced Cajuste as the French midfielder was expected to move to Brentford.
However, Sky Sport Italia and other English media claim that the deal between Napoli and the Premier League side has collapsed. Cajuste arrived in England but is flying back to Naples alongside his agents.
The French midfielder had even undergone medical tests with the English club, which, however, failed to reach a full agreement with Napoli.
Antonio Conte’s side are still expected to sign Billy Gilmour from Brighton, according to Matteo Moretto and Alfredo Pedullà, while La Liga side Betis are in advanced talks to sign Brazilian defender Natan.
