The Italian Association of Coaches sent out an angry statement blasting Brescia for the bizarre decision to call in sacked managers Eugenio Corini, Fabio Grosso and their staff during the coronavirus lockdown.
Everyone in Italy is urged to stay at home and restrict travel, as the virus has killed 2,503 people in the country so far.
It is therefore inexplicable that Brescia have called Corini and Grosso, along with their staff, fitness coaches and collaborators, to a training ground when they were fired earlier this season.

A statement from the AIAC “denounces the serious and irresponsible behaviour of Brescia Calcio with regards to the coaches and fitness staff it had previously sacked.”
Football activity of any kind is shut down until March 28, so the training ground should not be open at all.
The statement from the union of coaches accused Brescia of action that was “illegitimate, futile, contrary to common sense, fairness and good faith in a contract.
“We urge all associates to remain in their homes until the health situation has eased and the government decree lifted.”
