Premier League side Brentford have reportedly made an offer worth €30m for Fiorentina forward Nico Gonzalez amid a complete transformation of the strike force.
According to The Athletic, a bid has come in from Brentford for the Argentina international, who was forced to miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
The 25-year-old is a wide forward who gives his best in a trident attack and contributed 14 goals and five assists in 42 appearances for the Viola last season, during which they reached the Final of both the Coppa Italia and the Conference League.
His contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi runs to June 2026 and he was signed from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2021 for €24.5m plus bonuses.
Fiorentina are in the process of completely transforming their strike force, as Arthur Cabral is heading to Benfica, with Luka Jovic and Christian Kouame also on the market.
Lucas Beltran is on his way in from River Plate, while Spezia striker M’Bala Nzola will have his medical today or tomorrow.
