Brentford seem to be shopping in Serie A for midfielders, as after Napoli’s Jens Cajuste, they are now said to be offering €12m to Milan man Yacine Adli.
The Premier League side is eager to bring in talent from Italian clubs, who seem to have dropped by the wayside, pushed out by new arrivals.
Over the last few days, they have been trying to agree terms with Napoli for Cajuste, hoping to get him on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season at €12m if they manage to stay in the English top flight.
Adli after Cajuste on Brentford shopping list
According to MilanNews.it, Brentford have also approached Milan for Adli and the proposal on the table would be circa €12m.
It is a tricky situation, as so far the Frenchman has turned down bids from other clubs, including Al Shabab.
It remains to be seen if he will be more open to the idea of joining a Premier League side battling against relegation.
The 24-year-old cost €9m to sign from Girondins de Bordeaux in 2021, but never quite broke into the Milan team.
