Manchester United are seriously considering making a move for Gleison Bremer in the summer, pushing Juventus to identify two possible replacements.

The Red Devils are looking to bolster their backline in the summer and believe the 27-year-old Brazilian centre back could be the perfect option for their squad. He has a €65-70m release clause in his contract, but it’s not valid until the summer of 2025.

Bremer is not Manchester United’s only target and the Red Devils aren’t the only club following the Juventus centre back, who is now looking increasingly likely to leave at the end of the season. His sale would give the Old Lady significant resources to reinvest in the transfer market.

Bremer alternatives

Tuttosport via TMW details how Juventus have started to look around for possible replacements for Bremer and have identified two players ahead of the summer – Sporting’s Ousmane Diomande and VfL Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix.

Both players are considered good fits for the squad by Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, but neither would come cheap, with the former valued at €40m and the latter at circa €20m.

  1. Man Utd really are clueless when it comes to buying players , Bremer would be another overated , overpaid addition to their squad.
