Gleison Bremer assures he ‘really wanted this renewal because I believe in the project’ at Juventus, with an increased release clause and expiry set in 2029.

There had been reports that the Brazil international would be targeted by Premier League sides including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, especially with a release clause of €60m making him a bargain.

However, today he officially signed a new contract that will run to June 2029 and reports indicate it includes an increased clause.

Sportitalia report it will be worth €70m, but only from June 2025.

“I am very happy to have reached this agreement with Juventus,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I really wanted this renewal because I believe in this project and want to continue giving my best in these colours. Forza Juve, forward together!”

Bremer committed to Juventus

The defender has been a key figure in the squad, amassing 83 competitive appearances in the last two seasons, scoring seven Serie A goals.

He was a massive investment in the summer of 2022, purchased for €46.9m plus up to €2.1m in bonuses, snatching him out from under the noses of rivals Inter.

It was a controversial move, crossing the city from Torino to Juventus, but it helped him break into the Brazil squad where he now has five senior caps.
