Torino centre-back Bremer is the most prolific centre-back in the top five European leagues after scoring his sixth in 2021 against Udinese. ‘I’m trying to improve my stats’.

The Granata picked up three points against Udinese on Monday night and climbed to 11th in Serie A with 17 points from 13 games so far this term.

Bremer scored the 2-0 goal after 48 minutes after Josip Brekalo had opened the scoring early in the first half.

It was enough to secure three points, as Fernando Forestieri’s free kick goal was not enough to get Udinese back into the match and Bremer is now the centre-back who has scored the most goals in Serie A in 2021 – and no one has done better in the top five European leagues.

“It was a difficult match, but we prepared well for it,” Bremer told DAZN. “It was a great win. My goal? I’m trying to improve my stats but first of all there’s the team.

“The goal is important, I often try, also to increase my confidence.”

  1. Just watching part of this match and you see why Italy have trouble scoring.

Gallo Belotti can’t convert and has difficulty on a few half-chances, YET other players scores much more difficult goals.

Same with Scamacca yesterday for Sassuolo. He did score 1 goal but before that missed a fairly easy chance.
