Gleison Bremer admits his Juventus debut against Barcelona was a unique experience, while he is ‘already starting to learn the movements.’

The centre-back left Torino this summer for €50m including add-ons, crossing the city to their arch-rivals Juventus after he was seemingly close to Inter.

He made his debut in the 2-2 draw with Barcelona and impressed in his marking of Robert Lewandowski.

“I had never played a game like that against Barcelona, even if it was a friendly. Juve always want to win, it was wonderful,” Bremer told the official Juventus Twitch channel.

“I only had a few training sessions, so it was an important test. I have already started to improve and learn the movements of the defence.”

Bianconeri supporters can expect far more from the Brazilian, who has said before he is more suited to a three-man defence than the back four.

“I am only 60-70 per cent right now, though, I can do much better.”

  1. Grande Bremer. Already learning Feng Shui Max’s art of the back, back, down, down. Just remember never to venture forward like Lucio or it is ritiro time. With Roberto Carlos and Cafu already in the squad he will adapt quickly.

  2. I see LA didn’t get his daily Hug and kiss today so he has his episode again. Anyways, Bremer looks like the real deal. I know its early, but if he can put those performances like he did with the Granata then we are in serious business. Against Barca he looked like a rock. Best part about him is that he is very humble and wants to do even better then he did last season.
