Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt blames ‘the Italian newspapers’, as he quashed the rumours of a move to Milan this summer.
Reports in Italy have linked Brandt to teams like Milan and Lazio in recent months, but the BVB player has denied the transfer rumours.
The latest reports have suggested Milan are ready to offer an exchange deal including Rafael Leao, but the former Bayer Leverkusen player revealed they are only rumours.
“I have never fed these transfer rumours,” Brandt told RTL. “They came from the newspapers in Italy.
“Of course, it’s nice when other clubs express interest, but for my part, there has never been any signal to leave. I don’t think I will play elsewhere this year.”
