Brahim Diaz is aware of the importance of the No.10 shirt at Milan and insists he will give his best for the Rossoneri.
The 21-year-old has returned to the club on a two-year loan with an option to buy and has picked the No.10 shirt that belonged to Hakan Calhanoglu last season.
“I am very happy to be back in this big club. I am delighted with what we achieved last season, but now a new season begins and I’ll do my best,” the Spaniard told Milan TV.
“These colours deserve my very best that’s what I’ll give.
“I will never forget my team at Milan last season, 21 is a number I like, but I also really like No.10, it’s a unique number at Milan, it’s a heavy number that comes with a lot of responsibility because of the importance of the club and its colours,” the Real Madrid loanee continued.
“I’ll give my all for the fans to be worthy of this great club. I feel I can live up to the expectations. I love this club and I will do my best for it.
“I’ve taken the No.10 because I like the number and I am aware of its importance at Milan. It motivates and inspires me. I’ll give my blood, sweat and tears for this great club and I’ll fight to make it a great season.”
