The Biancoceleste announced on their official website this morning that the 32-year-old Braafheid has signed on for one more year after making 16 league appearances last season.
Further renewals are expected soon, with Stefano Mauri’s agent telling Lalaziosiamonoi that the player will meet President Claudio Lotito today and that “there won’t be any problems.”

Romania international Radu has been linked with Sampdoria this summer, but Il Messaggero has reported that yesterday the defender met with Lotito to clarify his situation.
The paper believes that a four-year deal has been agreed with a slight salary increase and an official announcement could arrive shortly.
In further news, Biancoceleste youth player Joseph Minala has completed a loan move to Serie B side Latina for next season.
