Multiple reports in Italy claim Nicolò Zaniolo’s agent will hold talks with Bournemouth directors today, with the Italy international potentially open to a transfer.

Zaniolo has asked to leave Roma in January and hoped he would join Milan, but the Rossoneri have been unable to match the offer from Bournemouth and are now out of the race.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma owners have threatened Zaniolo that he wouldn’t play for the Giallorossi again if he stayed at the club in January.

Zaniolo is training with his Roma teammates in Trigoria this morning. Calciomercato.com, Sky Sport Italia and Il Corriere dello Sport claim his agent Claudio Vigorelli will talk to Bournemouth directors today.

There are conflicting reports on the salary offered by the Premier League side to Zaniolo.

According to Gazzetta and Il Corriere dello Sport, Bournemouth have offered €3m per season plus add-ons, while Calciomercato believes the player’s salary in England would be €5m per season.

Calciomercato and Corriere claim Zaniolo is now considering joining the Premier League strugglers, while Sky Sport’s Angelo Mangiante maintains the player’s decision depends on the money and the sporting project offered by the Premier League club.
