Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz has claimed Inter ‘will punish’ his side if they continue ‘losing the ball’ like they did against Rangers on Thursday.
Leverkusen went through thanks to a 4-1 win on aggregate against Steven Gerrard’s side and will face Inter in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
But Bosz was not completely satisfied after yesterday’s 1-0 win at BayArena.
“The most important thing will be not to lose too many easy balls, tonight it happened too often and if it happens on Monday, a great team like Inter will punish you,” Bosz said at a press conference.
But the Dutch coach is sure that Leverkusen have a chance to fight for the trophy this month, answering: “Yes, but the road is long.”
