Borussia Dortmund have reportedly come forward to sound out a move for Juventus’ Weston McKennie.

The Bianconeri need to make space in their midfield if they want to welcome Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint-Germain this month, and time is starting to run out. Juventus had hoped to sell Adrien Rabiot to Manchester United, but that deal collapsed, and no offers have arrived for the redundant Arthur Melo.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Borussia Dortmund are interested in making a move for McKennie and have requested information from Juventus. The Bianconeri made it clear that they wouldn’t let the American leave for cheap, so the Bundesliga outfit would need to pay up to secure his signature.

The 23-year-old McKennie is contracted to Juventus until 2025 and he did fairly well last campaign under Massimiliano Allegri, scoring four goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.

Some reports also suggest that Monaco are keen on Denis Zakaria, but journalists local to the Principality have challenged this rumour.

  1. Socrates (Arthur), Zidane (Rabiot), Roberto Carlos (Sandro) and Cafu (Danilo) are laughing all the way to the bank. PhD Max is relieved. Excuse made, 4th spot tripleta not promised.
