Boruc in self-isolation at Bournemouth

Bournemouth have confirmed that five of their employees, including goalkeeper Artur Boruc, are in self-isolation amid Coronavirus fear.

The club released a statement on their official website revealing another incident of the Coronavirus in the Premier League.

Everton are already in self-isolation after a first-team member reported symptoms related to the COVID-19 and both Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi have tested positive for the virus.

The statement from the Cherries read: “AFC Bournemouth can confirm that five of its employees are currently self-isolating, having displayed symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

“Goalkeeper Artur Boruc, along with four first-team members of staff, are self-isolating in line with Government and Public Health guidelines.

“This is a precautionary measure as, at this stage, none have tested positive for Coronavirus.

“The club continues to monitor the situation closely and to take suitable measures to ensure the wellbeing of its employees and supporters.”
