Borja Valero is ready for a return to Fiorentina for around €3m after his agents met with Inter today, but director Daniele Prade' insisted there was "zero chance.

The 34-year-old midfielder spent five years at the Stadio Franchi before his €6.5m transfer to San Siro in the summer of 2017.

He never disguised his love for the Viola and pledged to return to Florence after his retirement.

It seems as if he won’t need to wait that long, because he’s due a reunion with Coach Vincenzo Montella and director of sport Daniele Pradè, who have both returned after a spell away from Tuscany.

Agent Alejandro Camaro was seen at the Inter HQ in Milan this afternoon, accompanied by Davide Lippi, who had acted as intermediary when Borja Valero left Fiorentina two years ago.

However, Pradè told FCInter1908.it that the link had been blown completely out of proportion.

“There is zero chance for Borja to be back in the Viola jersey.”
