“I look back on my time there as being absolutely positive,” Valero told Fanpage.

“After five years in Florence, I tried another experience in a top club and I have to say I’m very satisfied with what I achieved.

“Especially with what happened at the start of last season. I was almost out of the squad and then I ended up playing in a lot of important games.

“It was a source of real pride for me and it showed me, once again, that you can achieve things when you work well.”
