Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has called for focus as the Italian Under-21 side try to qualify for the 2013 European Championship.

The Azzurrini will host Sweden in Pescara on Friday before the second leg on Tuesday as they look to book their place in Israel.

“We will be playing for our future, but in the knowledge of our strength,” said the player who is back in the Under-21 set-up after recent call ups to the full national side.

“These are really important games, matches that have to be prepared for with the utmost concentration.

“It won’t be easy as there are no easy games in football. Just remember what happened against Belarus when we won the first leg 2-0 and lost the return 3-0…”

Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi also underlined how tough the game would be when he was questioned yesterday.
