Hellas Verona have announced that Fabio Borini is out with a muscle injury but haven’t confirmed the extent of the problem he picked up against Udinese.
Coach Ivan Juric received the bad news today, as the former Milan forward will most likely be ruled out of their match against Cagliari at the Bentegodi on Sunday.
“Hellas Verona FC announce that Fabio Borini has suffered a slight muscle injury in the left thigh,” the club wrote in a statement. “The time of recovery is not currently measurable.”

Borini arrived on a free transfer to Verona in January and the 28-year-old has played six times in Serie A for the Gialloblu.
He has contributed two goals so far for his new club, including when Verona beat Juventus 2-1 at home earlier this month.
