The striker arrived from Sunderland today, on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total of €6m.
“I am only just starting to realise what’s happening,” the 26-year-old said on Milan TV.

“I am only just starting to realise what’s happening,” the 26-year-old said on Milan TV.
“Looking at the Milan Museum, you understand how great this club is and I can only be honoured to be here. Seeing all those Champions League trophies up close gives you a certain sensation, as they are the trophies players most want to lift.
“Milanello is a wonderful structure, suited to the club’s stature. I will have to make the most of all these facilities to improve myself as a player.”
During his presentation, CEO Marco Fassone said that Borini’s medical tests were the best they’d seen in 20 years.
“I continued training during the summer and the tests gave the right response. If it was up to me, we’d start pre-season training today! I just have to wait a few days and I can’t wait.
“I spoke to Coach Vincenzo Montella after the transfer was finalised and he said he was really happy to have me there. It’s going to be an important campaign and returning to Europe is the first step, via the preliminary rounds of the Europa League.”
Borini has never exactly been a prolific goal-scorer, but he does work hard for the team and that appears to be why Milan signed him.
“I’m ready to do everything – except play in goal! Whatever the team needs, I will try to give it. I learned than mentality in England.
“Milan is a dream come true. Now we can get to work.”
