Fabio Borini’s representatives have revealed the forward chose Hellas Verona over Genoa and will leave Milan after two and a half seasons at San Siro.

Calciomercato.com reports that the player has signed a six-month contract at the Bentegodi and the former Sunderland forward as the 28-year-old’s agents has revealed they are heading to Verona.

They confirm Borini has decided to depart the Giuseppe Meazza after only two league appearances for the Rossoneri this term and now he is preparing for his next chapter under the Gialloblu coach Ivan Juric.

The Mastini have surprised with their good start to the season, after winning six of their first 17 games in Serie A and are currently 11th in Serie A, eight points above the relegation zone.
