Girondins de Bordeaux President Gerard Lopez confirms Milan are ‘interested and in a good position’ to sign Yacine Adli.

The midfielder just turned 21 last month and has quickly emerged as the first choice for the Rossoneri this summer, with a deal possible for €10-12m plus a percentage of any future transfer fee.

“It is true that there is interest from Milan,” Bordeaux President Lopez told RMC Sport.

“We are discussing it. It’s not wrong to say that Milan are interested and in a good position. We’re talking and will see if this transfer will go through or not over the next few days.”

Sportitalia suggest Bordeaux are preparing to release Adli, as they have struck a deal for his replacement, Sporting Braga midfielder Fransergio.
