Inter-owned Yann Karamoh has been suspended by Girondins de Bordeaux due to “inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour that cannot be tolerated.”
It is not entirely clear what happened, but the 20-year-old winger could be returned to Inter a few months early.
Bordeaux signed Karamoh on loan in August, a year after the club picked him up from SM Caen for €6.5m.
So far this season, the Ivorian has put together 26 competitive appearances between Inter and Bordeaux, contributing three goals and three assists.

A statement from Bordeaux this evening makes clear the situation is extremely serious.
“Due to inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour that cannot be tolerated by the club, Yann Karamoh has been suspended. This measure, awaiting a final decision to be made by the club, helps to protect the balance of the squad and remind everuone of the importance of respecting the club’s values.”
A few days ago, Karamoh had been left out of the squad to face Olympique Marseille, with Coach Eric Beouet describing the cause as “unprofessional behaviour.”
