According to reports in Italy, Girondin de Bordeaux have informed Milan that Yacine Adli won’t move to San Siro before the end of the season, so the Rossoneri must look elsewhere for January reinforcements.

Adli signed with Milan in the summer, completing a permanent €10m move.

The player has remained at his club on loan until the end of the season, but Milan wanted to take him to San Siro six months in advance.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, the Ligue 1 side have decided against allowing Adli to join Milan before the end of the season, so the Serie A giants will be looking for alternative transfer targets in January.

Milan do not only need a replacement for Simon Kjaer in defence but are also looking for at least one new midfielder.

Franck Kessié and Ismael Bennacer will play in the Africa Cup of Nations from January to February and Stefano Pioli needs one more option for the attacking midfield role.

Brahim Diaz has failed to impress since recovering from COVID, registering just two assists in eight Serie A games since November.

  1. Yes! This is exactly what we need. An attacking midfielder above anything else. I’ve been saying this for months.

Really hope we can sign a quality player for that position.
