Leonardo Bonucci has urged Juventus to be wary of Champions League rivals Ajax. “They’re fit, full of talent, dynamic and they knocked out Real Madrid.”
Juve have already been considered favourites for their quarter-final against Ajax, but Bonucci warned his side would only have a chance of going through if they played ‘with great humility’ and ‘like we did in the second leg against Atletico Madrid’.

Juve have already been considered favourites for their quarter-final against Ajax, but Bonucci warned his side would only have a chance of going through if they played ‘with great humility’ and ‘like we did in the second leg against Atletico Madrid’.
“They’re fit, full of talent, dynamic and they knocked out Real Madrid,” the defender told Sport Mediaset.
“That’s enough to describe them. We’re ready to play two big games with great humility and in the knowledge that after the way we won in the last 16, we can give our fans two more great evenings.
“However, we’ll need to play like we did in the second leg against Atletico. We must strive to be perfect between now and the end of the season.
“I said Ronaldo was an alien so huge credit goes to him, but the whole team went beyond their limits against Atletico.
“We must also thank our fans for their enthusiasm and every single player on the field and on the bench for the desire they showed.
“Barzagli, Douglas Costa, De Sciglio, Khedira and Alex Sandro lived through the game better than we did.
“They were still fired up after 95 minutes, while we were exhausted in the dressing room!”
