Leonardo Bonucci was still charged after the Euros triumph when he greeted the Juventus fans after his medical. ‘The fans are still eating pasta, I’m going now too’.

The centre-back went wild after Italy’s EURO 2020 win over England in the Final at Wembley and the 34-year-old didn’t hold back in the celebrations.

“You have some pasta to eat, eat more pasta,” Bonucci shouted and refereed to an old Italian expression that means ‘gaining more experience’ and is often used in sports and football.

He was in a good mood after his medical with Juventus ahead of the preparations for the new season and greeted the fans outside J|Medical.

“The fans are still eating pasta, I’m going now too,” Bonucci said, according to Calciomercato.com, referring to the celebrations of the European Championship success.

Bonucci returned to Continassa today with the rest of the European champions, as Giorgio Chiellini was given a new two-year deal at the Allianz Stadium.
