The Bianconeri have endured a poor start to the Serie A season, and currently lie 10th, nine points off the top of the table.

The summer saw a number of new arrivals in Turin, and the defender says he and his fellow experienced campaigners must impart the philosophy of the club.

“The last-minute goal [against Torino] should be a starting-point for those who came in,” Bonucci said in the Press conference ahead of the Champions League clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.

“Nothing can be left to chance, you have to try and win from the first second to the last.

“We didn’t say much, in the end we had to erase those 45 minutes against Sassuolo, where we were missing almost everything, starting with our pride.

“Every time you go on the pitch, it doesn’t matter how you do it, but you have to go out there for three points and a win.

“Above all, we older players have to look to explain to the younger ones, the newcomers, that at Juventus it’s unthinkable to have one win then one defeat, and therefore the ups-and-downs which we’ve experienced at the start of this season.

“Every game has to be a win.

“It’s not that some of them haven’t understood that, but they’re coming from different mentalities, being thrown into a project as important as the one at Juventus isn’t easy for anyone.

“I’ve been there, when I arrived at Juve from Bari. This shirt puts pressure and expectations on you that you don’t get with others.

“So it’s normal that when you arrive you can lose your way for a brief moment, and it’s in those times that we have to be good as a group, stick together, and explain to the newcomers what it means to fight for this shirt.

“We’ve shown in the games we’ve won that when we go on the pitch and all give 110 per cent that we can bring home important results.

“Look at Manchester [City], look at the derby. So I think that’s the main aspect, motivation, concentration and a spirit of sacrifice. Fighting for every ball as a team, and making sure we’re united and decisive in defence and attack.

“I think that was the secret of the Juventus which won in the last few years, and it has to continue for this Juventus.”
