“It’s an emotional day and it makes me proud of what we have built together over the years,” wrote Bonucci on Instagram.

“There are only a few who are privileged enough to become part of this history in black and white. I feel fortunate because, after a period away from home, I am here again to continue growing and winning with this jersey.

“In the hopes of stepping through the doors of the Museum again with just as important jerseys, I take the opportunity to thank those who in these 300+40 games for Juventus have believed in me and cheered me on.

“Thank you to all of you for what you have given me. From today we are even more united for the great battles that will take us to reach great objectives.”
