Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci says he fully expects this weekend's clash with relegation threatened Cesena to be nothing short of a battle.

The 23-year-old Italy international is arguably Juventus' only first choice defender available as the treatment room at Vinovo is choc-a-block.

Interviewed on Sky Italia, Bonucci said: "We are playing in front of our fans against a team like Cesena who are fighting for survival and are in Turin with nothing to lose.

"It will be a battle like against Milan. We must be clever enough not to lower our guard.

"It's not easy to find motivation against the so-called 'minor' teams.

"We must be clever and Del Neri is trying to get the best out of each and every one of us."

Bonucci's teammate Marco Motta agreed with his assessment of Cesena.

"It will be a difficult game because the Italian League is difficult and often the games you don't consider to be hard reveal themselves to be more complicated.

"It's really for this reason that we will give our maximum to get the three points.

"The level of this League is high and there are many teams of the same value."
