Leonardo Bonucci tried to calm down his teammate Juan Cuadrado during a brawl involving Juventus and Inter players on Tuesday night, while Federico Chiesa embraced his compatriot Nicolò Barella.

The first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final between Inter and Juventus on Tuesday night had a fiery end with three players sent off.

First, Romelu Lukaku received a second yellow card for a celebration considered provocatory for the opposition fans. Then it was Cuadrado and Samir Handanovic’s turn. After the final whistle, the duo clashed inside the pitch and was given a straight red card.

As highlighted by Il Corriere dello Sport, Bonucci was also involved but tried to calm his teammate down, pushing him away from the other players, who continued clashing for a few minutes. Bonucci was not available for the game and joined his teammates after watching the game from the stands.

Not all of them, however, had hard feelings. Italy international Chiesa and Barella looked clashes from afar, with the Bianconeri winger putting his arm around the shoulder of his compatriot.
