The two centre-backs proved decisive for the Azzurri during the European Championship this summer, as Italy went all the way.
“Eat some more pasta,” is an Italian expression that means ‘gaining more experience’ and it’s often used in sports.
Bonucci posted a photo of him and Chiellini on holiday after a successful summer and they were, of course, sharing a plate of pasta.
