Leonardo Bonucci insists the glass is half-full after Juventus were held at home by Roma at the weekend.

The Old Lady went one up thanks to a wonder goal by Vincenzo Iaquinta, before Francesco Totti ensured a 1-1 with a controversial penalty.

"Even if the objective was to win the game, Saturday's result is not one to throw away," the Italian wrote on his website.

"We played against a good side who have shown that they are over their early season difficulties.

"We regret not taking advantage of the scoring opportunities that we created, but a draw can be considered as the right result."

Juventus are now fourth in Serie A, level with Inter, but six points away from leaders Milan.

"The point helped us remain anchored to the top of the table," continued the summer signing from Bari.

"We need to improve our position in the standings but, considering how new our side is, we aren't doing too badly.

"Now we must focus on our game against Genoa who, as we all know, don't offer any discounts at home."
