Franco Baresi believes Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci “has reached full maturity”.
The Bianconeri centre-back has been praised heavily in recent seasons, with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola naming him as one of his favourite players.
Now one of the all-time great defenders has given his opinion, with the Milan legend also hailing Bonucci’s contribution.
“Bonucci has reached full maturity,” Baresi told Corriere dello Sport.

“He’s a pillar of the Azzurri. Every defender has his own characteristics, and Bonucci combines physicality, quality and intelligence.
“That allows him to fit well with [Andrea] Barzagli and [Giorgio] Chiellini, creating a winning journey which has allowed them to open up a winning cycle.
“It happened with my Milan too.”
