Zibi Boniek says Francesco Totti has “all the characteristics to do well” as Roma sporting director, but doesn’t see him as a Coach.
The Giallorossi legend confirmed yesterday that he plans to become a sporting director, as he’s learning under Monchi after retiring last summer.
“For me he has all the characteristics to be able to do well,” Boniek, a former Lupi player himself, told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I like him in the role of director. He has the right experience, and he’s an intelligent lad.

“Of course it takes a bit of time to embark on that path, if he gets two or three years of directorship experience then he can go and do it calmly.
“I don’t see him as a Coach, I guess after 30 years as a player he now wants a different life.”
