Former Milan defender Daniele Bonera verbally clashed with a few Fiorentina fans during tonight’s match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

It all happened in the final minutes of the game, after a Gaetano Castrovilli foul on Theo Hernandez.

Bonera was sitting in the last row of the press box, which is quite close to the last row of the main stand at the Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina fans turned on the ex Milan defender, now a member of Stefano Pioli’s staff, insulting him.

Bonera hit back at them and stewards had to intervene to calm both Bonera and the home supporters.

It is still unclear why the dispute between Bonera and Fiorentina fans began.

It seemed to be all over in a couple of minutes, but when Vlahovic scored the fourth goal for the Tuscans, La Viola’s fans once again insulted Bonera.

The stewards had to intervene to prevent them from getting close to the former defender, who, this time, didn’t replicate.

The Tuscans collected a 4-3 win and Bonera left the stands after most Fiorentina fans had left the stadium.
