According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina are happy with Giacomo Bonaventura’s performances and are preparing a one-year contract extension for the former Milan midfielder.

Bonaventura’s current deal at the Artemio Franchi runs out in the summer and the Tuscans are determined to extend his stay at the club until June 2023.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports Fiorentina want to confirm the former Milan midfielder who has been a regular starter under Vincenzo Italiano this season.

The 32-year-old has scored one goal, delivered four assists in eight appearances in all competitions, and is destined to spend at least one more year in Florence.
