The agent of Giacomo Bonaventura believes that the Atalanta player is knocking at the door of national boss Cesare Prandelli.
“After his performance against Inter, it is not utopia to see him get a call-up from Prandelli,” Giocondo Martorelli told TMW.
“If he continues in this manner then it will be impossible for the Coach to not keep him under consideration.
“He is a kid who was born in 1989 and he certainly has room for improvement.”
The midfielder, who opened the scoring in the 3-2 win over Inter, has three goals in 11 League games for the Nerazzurri so far this season.
Bonaventura joined Atalanta as a kid in 2005. He’s been sent out on loan in the past to Pergocrema and Padova.
The player has appeared for the Italy Under-19 and U-20 sides.
