Giacomo Bonaventura has pulled-out of the Italy squad with illness, so will play no part against Germany.

The Milan midfielder came down with a fever on Friday, and was unable to train with the Azzurri.

“Giacomo Bonaventura will not be part of the group departing for Germany,” the FIGC announced in a statement on their official website.

“Today he left the training camp because of the continuing fever symptoms which struck on Friday.”

Bonaventura has therefore left Coverciano and will return to the Rossoneri ahead of the trip to Atalanta at the weekend.

The Italy squad will leave for Germany at 17.50 local time [16.50 GMT] this afternoon, before Leonardo Bonucci and Conte address the media this evening.
