The Azzurri snatched a 1-1 result at the Stadio Dall’Ara last night thanks to a Jorginho penalty, cancelling out the Piotr Zielinski effort.

“We had several problems in the first half,” the Milan midfielder told Rai Sport.

“We need the enthusiasm and quality of youth, but also the experience of those who have been at this level for a while, because we are up against very strong opponents. I think we are trying to find the right mix of those elements.”

The next match is in Lisbon on Monday evening and the pressure is already on for a result, even if Cristiano Ronaldo is not taking part.

“Every game is difficult. Portugal have some very strong players who are regulars in the Champions League. We have to play with the right concentration levels to make as few errors as possible.”
