Reports claim Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura has extended his contract with the club for two more months.

Bonaventura’s deal was due to expire on June 30, amidst interest from the likes of Roma, Atalanta, Fiorentina and Torino.

However, multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia state the 30-year-old is committed to playing for Milan until August, when the season is now scheduled to end.

‘Jack’ bounced back from a serious knee injury to play 19 times before the coronavirus lockdown, scoring three goals.
