Giacomo Bonaventura leaves Milan after six seasons with the Rossoneri and thanked the club for ‘an unforgettable experience’.
The 30-year-old midfielder arrived from Atalanta in September 2014 and has contributed 35 goals and 30 assists in his 184 games for the Diavolo.
His contract expired after the 2019-20 season and Bonaventura will now move to find a starting position elsewhere.
“Thank you, I lived a dream,” he wrote on Instagram. “The years spent at Milan were an unforgettable experience.

Bonaventura appeared 29 times in Serie A 2019-20 but only started 13 and scored three goals in the process.
